    Posted: 15/February/2010 at 15:37
With the rally season underway some new people seem to have got the bug to get out and compete but with the age old problem that they need to do the BARS Test.

Of course we all know to make it worthwhile we need a reasonable amount of people, approx 10.

Would anyone who is wanting to do this or knows anyone please post below so we can get some idea.

It may also be possible for those wanting to undertake the test but do not have a car to pay a small charge to use a shared vehicle.

Responses please......

Rob , if we were to bring Tony over again , he provides a car in the cost of the course, but like you said it needs approx 10 people to make it worth while

Thanks to all those who have contacted me or put their names here. Tomorrow I will be in a position to announce the date of the first local organised and run BARS Test.

What I can confirm is the the cost for the BARS test will be in line with UK running's of this at £180

This is the same cost you would pay UK based rally school in order to take your BARS test, there are no hidden extras from the organisation point of view.

What you will require though ahead of the test day is to purchase a MSA Go Rallying Starter Pack which are available from http://shop.msauk.org/

As always any questions give me a shout.

Rob

The date for the BARS Test is now confirmed as Sunday April 18th.

Payment for the test, £180, will be required up front at time of registering for participation in the test.

I have a list of those who were interested I am working through but if in doubt please contact me again, robert@robertfagg.com or 480101
